The playing board is zoomed out on my iPhone. When I try to use the cog wheel, zoom out function, the board size does not change. Nor does pinch and zoom. The board size does not change.
Scrolling up to see Lines ABCD, etc, cause the page to lock. I have to refresh the page. This game really isn't iPhone friendly.• Kāda ir Tava pārlūkprogramma?

I meant to say board seems to be zoomed all the way in. It is quite large. Look at photo for reference. Thank you.

Same problem on my Android phone. It is very complicated to play because the game is too zoomed in. I didn't have this problem in alpha.

@muddypawprints and @lilou8391, could I please confirm what phone models (and for @lilou8391, what browser) you're using?
I'm aware from multiple bug reports that there's an issue at play here, but (for example) I'm currently sitting here with both an iPhone and an Android phone in front of me, and pinch and zoom is working fine on the live site, so I'm trying to figure out under what conditions it's NOT working for some people.
With that said, I'm aware that many of the buttons on the new toolbar *are* glitching, but the zoom in (+) and zoom in (-) are both working here, so I'm trying to figure out how to reproduce your issues.
Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this, soon!

@muddypawprints and @lilou8391, could I please confirm what phone models (and for @lilou8391, what browser) you're using?
I'm aware from multiple bug reports that there's an issue at play here, but (for example) I'm currently sitting here with both an iPhone and an Android phone in front of me, and pinch and zoom is working fine on the live site, so I'm trying to figure out under what conditions it's NOT working for some people.
With that said, I'm aware that many of the buttons on the new toolbar *are* glitching, but the zoom in (+) and zoom in (-) are both working here, so I'm trying to figure out how to reproduce your issues.

The bad news (sort of) is that when I go onto BrowserStack and connect to an iPhone 13 Pro Max and launch the game in Chrome, it works... even when I go to your specific game.
This is a thorny one. I'll have an update in the next few days that covers other issues. I'm secretly hoping that this issue has been a by-product of the bad code that's glitching the other buttons, and it will all start working once that's resolved...
I'll touch base again after that patch.

I'm on one plus 8 pro. I have the problem on chrome and Mozilla.
I can pinch but it's really too big and it's therefore very complicated to play, I even asked for the abandonment of the game I have in progress.

Could I confirm what you mean by "it's really too big"?
Are you meaning it's too zoomed in? If so, when you say you can pinch, what happens? Does that not zoom out for you?
Or do you mean that the viewport area is somehow too big?

I've just posted an update. There's no smoking gun change that I've made that makes me confident that I've fixed your issue, although I have not been seeing it on my devices. But I've made various changes to the system AND have put some diagnostic traps into the initialization of those buttons - so if the game detects a problem when setting them up then it will now alert and provide some details.
Could I please get you to try again and let me know if the problem is still occurring for you? If it is, are you getting any kind of error screen when you load the page?
(Note: there is a new "Welcome to the beta" popup which will only display the first time that you open the game - but it will prevent any other error screen from displaying, so if you're having the error still, please refresh to double check if any message is trying to appear)

Wow that was so strange! When I went to my game, it was still very large. I tried to decrease the size using the - button. It did not respond, but it allowed me to scroll around the board better. No locking up. It did however, keep trying to put me back into center of the board. I refreshed, and it was still large. Scrolled too far down, hit the TOP button at the bottom of page, and BOOM, perfect sized board! ❤️ Beautiful! Not sure if the refresh was taking a little long or Top button did it, but I got there! Lol. Looks great now! Thank you!

I have played it again and the - button did indeed work this time. Thank you for fixing this! It has made it a lot easier to play on the go now.
