thousand
1000 (also known as 1001 or Russian Schnapsen) is a trick-taking card game using a playing card pack of only 24 cards. Each player bids the number of points to take, then the highest bidder takes spare cards and then starts the first trick. Points can be earned by taking tricks or declaring melds in hand. Declaring a meld changes the trump suit as well.

A 24-card pack is used. There are just six cards in each of the suits Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and Spades and their ranking from high to low and their point values are as follows
