Hi Tisaac,
You keep closing my tickets with unsound arguments. I'm not sure if I'm just not being clear enough.
1) This isn't a "house rule". Game rules apply to what happens while you're playing the game; not to what happens after the game is over. There are already tournament rules for Bang that incorporate some of what I was suggesting (which soimebody else also brought up in a different ticket).
2) BGA is already doing the same thing in Flaming Pyramids. I don't know why you keep ignoring this.
From ticket #60436:
"The rulebook defines clearly the set of winners/loosers, so what you describe is a house rule since you create fictional 1st/2nd/3rd places that are NOT defined in the rulebook."
Can you point to a page in the Flaming Pyramids rulebook which supports your argument here? That game defines a single winner, based on who gets rid of their tiles first. BGA doesn't score Flaming Pyramids as 1 winner and 3 equal losers. If that was possible for Flaming Pyramids, why would it be an absurd suggestion for Bang?
3) There appear to be problems with how Bang is scored. The ELO scores don't appear to be a good representation of player skill, due to problems I've already articulated.
Given that Bang just got out of beta, and just became open for Arena play, I would have thought BGA would be more open to hearing about problems that have come up, from the broader community. -

Again, I am not saying it would be a bad idea, just that I cannot do such a thing without any publisher approval first, so go contact them about that if really you think that matter, but in the meantime this won't happen here.
And no need to create new ticket, you can answer to old ones, even if the status is "rejected".
