Detalizēts apraksts
• Lūdzu nokopē/ielīmē kļūdas ziņu, ko redzi ekrānā, ja tāda ir.
why do, in single elimination tournaments people who tie in a game one person moves on and one gets eliminated when it counts as a tie.
in my opinion I think that there should just be another game with the two players and the winner of that move on instead of one moves on randomly and the other gets eliminated.• Lūdzu paskaidro, ko Tu vēlējies darīt, ko Tu izdarīji un kas notika

Ziņojuma vēsture
Either define and publish an empirical formula to resolve ties, or implement a tie-breaker game amongst the tied players.
Suggest:
- In a 2 person game, both players would play the tiebreaker.
- In a 3 person game with only 1 player to keep and there's a tie for 1'st then the 3'rd place player is eliminated, and the 2 players tied for 1'st play a tiebreaker to determine who is kept and who is eliminated.
- In a 3 person game with 2 players to keep and there's a tie for 2'nd then the 1'st place player advances, and the 2 players tied for 2'nd play a tiebreaker to determine who is kept and who is eliminated.
It would be very helpful if BGA clarified how ties are dealt with by each of the tournament formats (Single Elimination, Multiplayer Elimination, Swiss system, and Round Robin).
As for single-elimination (i.e. "knockout") tournaments, I made a proposal in this thread: boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29624
In my view, I'd like to see the tournament creator have a choice (with Single-Elimination tournaments) for how to deal with ties, after the game's own prescribed tiebreakers are exhausted:
- coinflip (should be the default)
- rematch (with a warning that this may greatly extend the runtime of the tournament)
- player with most time remaining proceeds to next round
- player with lower Elo proceeds to next round
(with warnings on the last two options, that game strategy may be affected in an unbalanced way).
