Ziņojuma vēsture
"advance pass" is saying, "I have no plans to do anything else this generation."
If you have cards that you might wish t play depending on what your opponent does .. then don't click auto pass.
What is the point of clicking Auto-pass in this situation? If player A is going to wait to see what the player B does so that player A can decide whether to keep auto-pass selected... then why not just ... wait to see what the opponent does, and then pass if nothing has changed?
Am I missing something here? If the plan is to remain at the computer and observe the opponent's next action to decide whether to keep auto-pass engaged, then why do it in the first place?
I figured Auto-pass was for players who are calling it a night and don't want the game to be sitting their on their turn for hours.
If that's not the case, and a player plans to see what the other player does next - then, we already have in place what people are asking for. Just wait to see what the opponent does next. Something that changes your plan? Okay, you don't have to pass. Nothin that changed your plan? Pass.
Besides, If auto pass is engaged, how would that player have time to see what the opponent does and then decide to cancel autopass and click it in time? As soon as the opponent makes the move, auto-pass will engage.
Yes, I want the option to undo the advanced pass. “Just don’t make mistakes” is not a worthy argument for holding back this feature. Not everybody knows the rules of the game as well as I’m sure you do, they might regret advanced passing, and you argue “git gud” like some gatekeeping dark souls veteran invading their game.
At the current time, there is no option to cancel the advanced pass, so I am merely suggesting players not use it. If players avoid using it, they won't find themselves in a situation in which they want to cancel it.
I don't care one way or another as far as implementing the suggestion to make it possible to cancel the advance pass. It doesn't affect me at all, but if other players want the option, that's fine with me.
In the meantime, I am merely echoing the statement made earlier in the thread by LordChambers to help people avoid getting into this situation in the first place.
